Späte Heian-Zeit (794-1185), 12. Jahrhundert
Statue

Höhe: 163 cm (ohne Dämon) 173 cm (mit Dämon), Breite: 80 cm, Tiefe: 48 cm, Gewicht: 28,8 kg
Holz (Japanische Zypresse "hinoki") in warihagi-Technik zusammengesetzt. Reste von Farbe und Goldverzierung. 1. Lage: asa-nuno mit mugi-urushi, 2. Lage: sabi-urushi und weiße Grundierung. Teilweise kuro-urushi, shippaku, kirikane und Tusche über shippaku.
